September 2008

We are devastated to have to tell you that we have lost our wonderful Joseph.

Joseph would have been with us for two years on the 5th December this year. He arrived at the grand old age of 12 or 13, we were never quite sure, after having been locked up in horrible kennels for most of his life. Talk about grumpy old men!

He soon earned the nickname of 'Strimmer' for his ability to make the kennel dog's ears bleed whenever he saw the chance, with the house dogs he was the most adorable old gent. He is greatly loved and missed and will certainly never be forgotten..

Tricky (Always Time) 14.12.96 - 20.04.08

Tricky had had such a bad life with little comfort or love that we were devastated to lose him. Unfortunately a tumour on his leg which we had removed when he came to us had been left too long and the cancer had spread. We were not aware of this until he collapsed on Sunday around lunchtime and we had to have him put down early afternoon. Tricky's racing name was 'Always Time" but unfortunately for this beautiful boy his time ran out before he could enjoy the comforts of a loving home. He is deeply loved and will be always missed.

It is with deep sadness that we have to report our beloved Thomas has died. The operation to remove his leg gave him an extra two months, which doesn't sound long but when those months are filled with your favourite food and the days are so sunny and warm you can start sunbathing at 7am and carry on throughout the day and the nights are spent wrapped up in your sleeping bag on the sofa. When the previous years were spent shut in a kennel with little comfort or exercise. Then it was worth it.

Goodbye our gorgeous boy you were much loved.

Thomas 1996 - 2007
