October 2008

We are most grateful for donations amounting to £400 from Mr Normal Wilkinson of Biddulph Park, in memory of his wife, Miriam, who died recently. Norman and Miriam have helped and supported the Sanctuary from the very beginning.

June 2008

Thank you to Style Counsel Interiors, 2nd Floor, Washford Mill, Mill Street, Congleton, Cheshire CW12 2AD, for their support - they have arranged to give Stiles £100 a month for a whole year! This is wonderful for the dog sanctuary as it helps so much with our ever increasing bills!!

Even Spot the Crocodile was impressed!

April 2008

Gregory (now Alfie) when he arrived at Stiles:

Alfie when he left Stiles, clock the smart new coat!

We would like to extend a special word of gratitude to Mr and Mrs Dewhurst who have fostered Alfie for Stiles. Alfie has thyroid problems causing him to lose most of his hair and was very bedraggled when he arrived at Stiles. It was his lucky day when Mr and Mrs Dewhurst came to Stiles and fell in love with him.

Thank you very much for your kindness.

January 2008

Thank you to Janet, Keith and Vicky Smith who raised £100 for Stiles by decorating their house over Christmas and collecting donations. They also gave £100 to Pat Roberts from Congleton for her cat rescue

.

October 2007 Thank you to th Barraclough family from Holmes Chapel for their kind donation to Stiles for the dogs.

Thank you to Mr Parry of Congleton for the kind donation to Stiles - he even managed to get his employers, Astra Zeneca, to match his donation!  Mr Parry adopted a dog from us a couple of years ago - and is very grateful!

Sam would like a special thank you to HJOakes in Wheelock and Congleton for the mountains of dog food they have donated to us over the years.  We couldn't do without your kind gestures!

September 2007

Thank you from all at Stiles Dog Sanctuary, to Sarah Williams for all the prizes we received, from the TRPD Pet Craft Project.

A second " BIG THANK YOU " to Sonia and Chris Newton, for giving Annie the love and care that she needs for her last few years.

Before Annie, Sonia and Chris took Gus into their home, knowing that an old dog will only be with you for a short time, they really are special people. It makes us all very sad when old dogs are abandoned, but owners like Sonia and Chris are those few in a million families that we cannot thank enough.

From all at Stiles Meadow, once again... Thank you.

June 2007

We would like to express our appreciation to David Teal.  David has recently sadly lost his wife and has donated various items to Stiles.  Please accept our condolences.

Thank you to Roy and Elsie Dale who adopted Fay from Stiles - they made a very generous donation to Stiles and presents for the volunteers.

April 2007

Thank you to Keith and Molly Parrott who donated a dog cage to the dogs at Stiles

A big thank you from all at Stiles to Crystal and Kev who donated so generously to our next sale - items including a television, garden tools, glassware and toys for the dogs.

21/2/07

A very big thank you to Stuart and Emma who go looking for soft dog beds from car boot sales and wash them before bringing them to us at Stiles.

That's dedication!

20/2/07

We are very grateful to Jill Manley who collects a regular supply of blankets for the dogs at Stiles - because of this we are able to give the dogs a good thick bed of blankets on the cold winter nights.

Thank you Jill

21/1/07

Thank you to Linda and her family for donating this flight kennel to Stiles - it will make an ideal bed for one of our dogs this winter

January 2007

We would like to say thank you to the many people who gave Christmas donations, especially Nigel and Helen, Vernon and Carol, and Lyn Brereton.

Thank you from the dogs to May Dean who gives £2 every week for chews and sausage treats for the dogs!  Woof woof!

Big thank yous to The Chiverton Family who made a very generous donation when they adopted Dougal  (a double bonus for us!)

All at Stiles would like to thank Sonia and Chris for another box of goodies, for dogs and staff.  The dogs love their treats and toys.  Merry Christmas, and thank you, to all  the kind people who think of the dogs at this time of year.

9/12/06

We would like to say a huge thank you to Terry and Lorraine who, on the sad loss of their dog, sent beds, leads, food and bedding for our dogs at Stiles.

22/7/06

Beverley Dawson, ran the Manchester Run in May 2006...10km round the city centre and raised  £317-30p for Stiles.  She is pictured here giving the donation to Sam.

Thank you so much Beverley for your contribution and congratulations on achieving this.

21/2/06

A big thank you to Lurcher Link,  http://www.lurcher.org,  who advertised Harry (now Bandit) and, as a result of that, found him a home in Wigan

10/02/06

Thank you to Ann and Susan for the blankets they donated to Stiles - these are really appreciated in the winter as it is very difficult to keep the dogs' baskets clean and dry - we get through mountains of blankets!!!

12/01/06

We would like to thank chippie, Stewart,  for making and donating three made-to-measure indoor kennels for the dogs at Stiles..." Thank You " from Jack, Chad, Freddie (who are living in these des res's) and all the Staff.

Lee, a friend of Stiles, sent us this picture after raising £91.76,

"I recently did a Christmas collection for Stilesmeadow Dog Sanctuary and thought it would be a good idea to decorate my transit van with over 600 Christmas lights and a dancing turkey!  I am a joiner and everywhere I worked I had a collection.  I would like to say thank you to the following people for their most generous donations - Nigel and Helen Poles, Carol, Vernon Brooks, all the lads at Bird Bellows in Congleton, all my friends at W Moors & Sons and to everyone at Leighton Hospital who made a donation.  Many thanks and a happy new year to you all"

L E Mould and all the dogs at the home.

14/12/05

A special Christmas treat for the hard working helpers who fund raise for the kennels on Stiles Open Days, and the girls who work with the dogs.  We are lucky to have such dedicated people.

26/10/05
